Semantic Triples (Entity–Attribute–Value)

Writing content as explicit entity → attribute → value statements so search engines and LLMs can extract clean facts about a business.

Definition

A semantic triple is the knowledge-graph unit of meaning: subject (entity) → predicate (attribute) → object (value) — e.g. “Acme Plumbing (entity) — serves (attribute) — downtown Houston (value).” James Dooley recommends structuring on-page and social content as clear triples, front-loading the entity name and its attributes, so Google and LLMs can parse unambiguous facts rather than infer them. This operationalizes Entity-Based SEO at the sentence level: instead of hoping the algorithm extracts relationships from prose, you state them plainly.

Consensus is emerging: entity/knowledge-graph SEO is well established, and triples are a real formalism, but “write in triples” as a concrete ranking tactic is Dooley’s practitioner framing (presented as tested, not published). It pairs closely with his LLM-seeding and Social-Media Parasite SEO tactics.

Key Properties

  • Entity-first sentence structure — lead with the business/entity name, not “we”/“our story.”
  • Makes facts machine-extractable for Google’s entity model and LLM answers.
  • A concrete authoring technique under Entity-Based SEO (which is the broader strategy).
  • Especially applied to social posts and third-party corroboration (GEO / AEO (Getting Recommended by AI)).
